1969 – The Jackson 5 are recording Can You Remember for Motown Records in Detroit, Michigan.
1971 – The Jackson 5 play in Madison Square Garden, New York City. The opening act is a new group named The Comodores with lead singer Lionel Richie.

1996 – Michael plays a free concert, at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. 60,000 people attend the show which celebrates the 50th birthday of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah.
2007 – District Judge Elizabeth Gonzales, of Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada, rules that the company Universal Express, which auctioned a collection of Michael family artefacts in May 2007, is in contempt of court and must return the sold items to the court.
1996 – Michael Jackson performed a concert at the Jerudong Amusement Park in Brunei. The concert was to celebrate The Sultan of Brunei’s 50th Birthday, Michael was payed an estimated 15-20 Million dollars($) for the performance, over 60,000 people attended the concert where Michael performed some of his best known and greatest hits.
