2009 – Two-time Mr. Universe Lou Ferringo, better known as ’The Incredible Hulk’ from the 1970’s TV hit show, is reportedly working as Michael Jackson’s physical trainer in preparation for the ’This Is It’ tour.
2001 – MJ Net Entertainment AG, a company based in Frankfurt, Germany is launched. It has a twenty-year exclusive worldwide right to license the use of Michael Jackson’s name, character, image and the ‘thematic’ from his songs. The company announces that the first in a line of Michael Jackson products to be released will be MJ5, a unique state-of-the-art three-piece flat-panel multimedia speaker system. The front panel of the speakers has high-quality photographs of Michael performing ‘Billie Jean’ live.
1991 – Michael visits the island of Bermuda with Home Alone star, Macauley Culkin for a short holiday and to look for possible video shooting sites. Macauley’s parents, three of Michael’s aides and the two stars check in to the city of Hamilton’s £600-a-day Princess Hotel where Michael occupies the penthouse, and Macauley’s parents are located on the sixth floor, immediately below. The pair spend most of the time playing games, swimming, diving and shopping.
1997 – Michael Jackson attended the 30th anniversary of “Phantasialand” celebrations in Bruhl, Germany. He signed the “Children in Need” book which was later auctioned by the charity UNESCO and tried out one of the latest rides in the theme park – “Colorado Adventure – The Michael Jackson Thrill”.
1988 – Michael Jackson is performing a concert during Bad World Tour at the Reichstag, attending 50,000. Over 3,000 East Germans gather at the Berlin Wall to hear Michael Jackson perform on the other side of the Wall in West Berlin.
1970 – The night before the Jackson 5 appeared at the Los Angeles Forum, they made their second appearance as Motown headliners at San Francisco’s Cow Palace. As with the L.A. concert, they shared a billing with Ike and Tina Turner, and Rare Earth. Tina Turner had to bow out at the last minute due to illness, so Jerry Butler stepped in as the opening act.
1992 – Michael Jackson’s fourth video from the “Dangerous” album entitled “Jam” premiers on FoxTV, MTV and BET in America. The video has the appearance of basketball superstar Michael Jordan, rapper Heavy D and another rap duo Kriss Kross. The song was also featured in the video “Untouchabulls” on the NBA Championships in 1992 for the Chicago Bulls (Michael Jordan team at the time).
