Today In Michael Jackson History (January 1st)

1974 – The Jackson 5 attend The Tournament of Roses Parade in 1974. Better known as the Rose Parade, it is “America’s New Year Celebration”, a festival of flower-covered floats, marching bands, equestrians and a college football game on New Year’s Day, produced by the non-profit ‘Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association’.


1972 – Jackson 5 in Concert in Nashville, Tennesse

1972 – The Jackson 5 compilation album Greatest Hits enters the Billboard US albums chart where it will peak at No12, during a 41-week run.


1994 – Michael attends a Barbara Streisand’s concert at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas with friend Mike Milken.

      I don’t follow her music and I don’t know much about her. I hear good things though. She’s also a legend.
