Some people say that with all that’s happening in the world today, the apocalypse is near. Perhaps this is true, but until then, we still have to wonder what, when & where the next act of terrorism will show it’s ugly face. Will it be on our own front door step? Down the street from us? We just don’t know anymore. A scary feeling to say the least.
Evil, like a cancer, is spreading everywhere with it’s ultimate goal to wipe us out completely. On the surface, the devil appears to be winning this battle, but we can’t give up faith that goodness will ultimately be the successor.
The recent terror in Paris is yet another example of the powers these satonic people have. It’s scary to think this is happening. It’s scary to think this evil might be as close as the guy next door. A guy or a girl influenced by what they see online. Someone who decides to allow themselves to be brainwashed and become recruited by Isil.
Amidst all the chaos going on in this world I’ve also noticed people coming together like never before. Showing a unity of strength and compassion for one another. Presidents and leader’s who wouldn’t normally be so eager to speak are joining together in the name of peace. In that alone these innocent victims who have died, did not die in vain.
With each day going forward, despite what might happen, we must hold on to faith in goodness, faith in God and faith in each other. We’ll get through this together and be stronger in the end.
I believe in the power of prayer, I believe in the power of God. I believe in our ability as a unit together as one we will change the world for the better. We can never lose hope. We must keep moving forward towards our goal in honor of the victims who gave their lives.
May God see us through this. Help us to make the right decisions and give us the strength to put aside our differences in the name of peace and conquer this evil.
